Review | Lunasol Three-Dimensional Eyes 05 Deep Beige

Hello! Work is taking almost all of my time these days, and sometimes I get really frustrated and depressed regarding how little leisure time is left for myself… But well, my expensive hobby (makeup, skincare, clothes, shoes and bags are not cheap!)  must get paid, haha…

Today, I wanted to share some photos of the latest Lunasol eyeshadow palette that I got. It’s the Three-Dimensional Eyes in 05 Deep Beige from the Lunasol 2011 Autumn Makeup Collection.

So apparently, I’m still not sick of neutral colors! Considering beiges and earthy tones are my all time favorite colors, how could I ever get sick of? No way!

05 Deep Beige is a combination of beige, cool toned gold, sand and a deep and intense grayish browns with a hint of khaki undertone.

All shades go on smoothly and are easy to blend. The pigmentation is pretty good. I would describe it as a translucent opaqueness (if that makes sense), that makes the colors look very flattering, as I made the experience that highly pigmented colors often tend to look dull and flat on my eyes.

I can see myself wearing 05 Deep Beige a lot, be it for a daytime to-go look or for a more intense smokey eye.

The cool toned beige, gold and grayish brown are shades that are very flattering on my NC 15 skintone, and I love how it creates a look that is intense yet subtle at the same time.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to take photos of me wearing it yet. Along with this palette, I also picked up the Lunasol Nail Finish in EX 34 Medium Beige, which I will show you in another post. I hope my thoughts and photos were helpful!

Yup, I also agree with the 8 eye shadows concept! Feels like you’re getting a lot of value for your money! :-)

I agree! Lunasol usually makes my wallet feel a bit uncomfortable. 8 shadows makes it sooooo much justifiable!

I’ve been eyeing Deep Beige but never got round to getting it. Why? I have no idea. So I might have to pick it up soon as a reward for getting through this week!

This palette is gorgeous! I haven’t been following Lunasol at all lately (clothes etc have been taking up my attention, plus I think I have too much makeup!) but I have to make an exception for this palette. Your photos have convinced me! :D

GORGEOUS! The colours are amazing .. especially the pigmentation. Is that on a primer or just your bare skin? Can’t wait to see EOTD of you wearing these colours ^___^ Neutral shades never phase out, they’re so versatile!

Yes, the pigmentation is quite good actually. The swatches are taken without primer, just on bare skin. Thanks for visiting, Jennifer!

Something a little unrelated to the topic, but I think I must be following way too many blogs. I completely missed the post where you switched to a new domain! No wonder I wasn’t getting any updates from you :(

Deep Beige is a Jess colour. I can see why you went for this colour combination, personally I’d go for it as well! haha. Am looking forward to a FOTD post!! Which palette do you prefer, Deep Beige or Neutral?

Jess November 13, 2011 at 15:48

Oh, just when it came to my mind to do a comparison between the Lunasol Deep Beige and Neutral, you came by and asked me that question! Can you read my mind, Blair? :)
I prefer Deep Beige over the Neutral, because the texture is even better!

Hi Odette, you can purchase Lunasol products at many online shops, such as Gooddealer, Adambeauty, Ichibankao or Mihokoshop.
